The tires of tractors and agricultural transport vehicles are prone to air leakage during operation, and even punctures caused by air leakage, and must be repaired in time. Several simple repair methods are now introduced.
1. Emergency repair of leaking inner tube. The inner tube of the tire has a small loophole, which can be repaired with adhesive plaster. Firstly polish the area around the hole with a wooden file, and then cut a piece of adhesive plaster larger than the hole to attach it, and then cut a piece of larger adhesive plaster to attach it. This way, six or seven layers of adhesive will keep the tires air-tight for a long time. .
If the crack is large, you can clean the rupture of the inner tube with a wooden file and place it flat on a wooden board. Take a piece of raw rubber for repairing the tire and stick it on the crack in the inner tube. Then energize the electric iron and press it firmly on the raw rubber. On, the gap can be repaired in a few minutes. If conditions permit, you can clamp the electric iron and the inner tube with a tool such as a clamp, and the tire repair effect will be better.
2. Repair of slow tire leaks
Take two tablespoons of talcum powder, unplug the valve core from the tire, release the inner tube air, use a cardboard shell to make a funnel into the air door, pour the talcum powder into the inner tube, and use the paper funnel if it can’t be filled in. Take it off, turn the wheel and fill it again, until the filling is finished. Then install the valve core to fully inflate. After inflating, the talc powder spreads in the tire and is attached to the inner tire wall in a diffuse shape, which can prevent the tiny pores from leaking.
3. Treatment of tire piercing stubble
When the tractor is working in the field, sometimes the tires will be stabbed by the hard plant stubble. If the air leakage is not serious at that time, remove the agricultural tools as soon as possible, and then pull out the stubble for repair after the tractor is slowly driven out of the field. The stubble is pulled out in advance.
4. How to deal with the loss of valve cover
After the valve cover is lost, in order to prevent the valve from entering the soil, you can cut a piece of soft plastic tube with a suitable inner diameter, heat one end to close it, and put the other end on the valve; you can also use a rubber hose with a suitable inner diameter , One end is tied up with a thin iron wire, and one end is put on the valve. For reliability, it can also be tied with a thin iron wire.
5. Use tire explosion-proof fluid
The tire explosion-proof fluid has the functions of instantly repairing tire leaks and explosions, and at the same time has the functions of reducing tire temperature, stabilizing tire pressure, preventing tire aging, and extending tire life. A tire burst occurs when a vehicle is driving, mostly because the tire has a small perforation, which causes an imbalance in the air pressure in the tire and causes a tire burst. The tire anti-explosion liquid is in the form of emulsion, which is injected into the tire as the tire rotates, and the emulsion fills the entire tire. Once the tire is pierced by external force, it will automatically repair the puncture instantly and prevent air leakage, which can effectively prevent the tire from bursting. Reduce traffic accidents and protect the safety of vehicles and drivers.
